Captain America 4 trailer – Harrison Ford’s Marvel debut in first thrilling look | Films | Entertainment

Anthony Mackie has starred as Sam Wilson aka Falcon, the sidekick to Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, since Captain America: The Winter Soldier hit cinemas a decade ago.

During the final scenes of Marvel‘s Avengers Endgame, an elderly Cap gave Wilson his shield, asking him to take up the mantle.

It wasn’t until Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that Falcon finally accepted that he as the new Captain America.

Now the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World has landed, with Harrison Ford co-starring as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, previously played in the MCU by the late William Hurt.

Ross is the newly elected US president and asks Wilson to work together rebuilding the Avengers.

Ross was the villain in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk and other characters from that movie are reprising their roles.

These include Liv Tyler as his daughter Betty and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns aka Leader; a cellular biologist who accidentally cross-contaminated with Bruce Banner’s blood granting him superhuman intelligence.

Rumours also abound that Ford’s President Ross will transform into the Red Hulk from the comics, which has now been all but confirmed given the final shot of this teaser.

Captain America: Brave New World hits cinemas on February 14, 2025.
