Discover indoor clothes drying hack that ‘makes such a difference’

As the cost of living crisis bites, households across Britain are getting crafty with their utility usage, particularly when it comes to drying clothes indoors without the costly spin of a tumble dryer.

With scarce sunny days to aid outdoor drying, laundry becomes an even bigger chore.

Enter cleaning sensation Lindsay, who operates under @dazlincleaning on Instagram, and boasts a following of 100,000 cleaning fans. She’s taken to social media with a game-changing hack for indoor drying which has left her ‘blown away’.

In a dynamic reel uploaded for her fans, Lindsay tackles the common conundrum: how to dry jeans on an airer without them taking up too much space or not drying evenly?

Speaking directly to followers, she explains: “Are you struggling to fit everything on your airer, or are you jeans not drying properly? I have the best tip.”

The cleaning guru proceeds with a simple yet revolutionary technique, saying: “Fold your jeans in half and feed the legs from underneath.”

She continues: “Fold them over the bars on either side. You will fit a lot more on your airer and everything will dry perfect.”

Lindsay attributed this nifty trick to another online cleaning star, saying in her caption: “INDOOR DRYING TIP. I first saw @beckiesbitofsparkle show this and I was blown away! What an incredible tip and thanks for showing this Beck! I won’t look back now.”

Enthusiastic fans praised the ingenious laundry hack, with the post garnering thousands of likes. One exclaimed in the comment section: “Smashed it. Makes such a difference doesn’t it.”

While another added: “I honestly thought everyone did this. My Nan taught me how to hang clothes on an airer when I used to stay there over the summer.”

A third contributor remarked: “This is genius, or should that be jeanius thanks for sharing.”

Other followers chipped in with their hacks too, as someone said: “I put everything on coat hangers! It’s goes straight to the wardrobe once dry!” Another suggested: “Put a fan on to dry the clothes faster.”

Amidst the tips, some comments came with words of caution, “Don’t forget to leave a window open for ventilation,” said one commenter, and another sarcastically advised: “Best tip, don’t dry inside unless you like mould.”
