A Downton Abbey favourite is unrecognisable in a chilling new horror from Steven Spielberg‘s daughter.

Please Don’t Feed the Children stars Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey and with the release of its first trailer, fans cannot contain their excitement.

Helmed by Destry Allyn Spielberg, the film explores a post apocalyptic world after a deadly virus outbreak that has decimated the adult population. A group of orphans find themselves at the mercy of a cryptic woman harbouring a dark truth.

The official synopsis teases: “After a deadly viral outbreak, a group of orphans flees in search of a new life, only to be taken hostage by a woman hiding a sinister secret.”

With freedom as their aim, the orphans find themselves at the secluded home of the mysterious woman who chillingly declares in the trailer: “I’m not supposed to take in children”, before offering them milk and biscuits.

She later screams: “Don’t be afraid, I’ll be a good mother,” reports Surrey Live.

The eerie preview has fans excited as some cannot believe Dockery’s transofrmation. The star is best known for her role as Lady Mary Crawley in Downton Abbey.

Joining Michelle Dockery in the cast are Giancarlo Esposito, famed for Breaking Bad, alongside Zoe Coletti, Andrew Liner, Dean Scott Vazquez, Regan Aliyah, Emma Meisel, Joshuah Melnick, and Vernon Davis.
