Samsung S23 Ultra, tablet and smartwatch cheaper retailer
Savvy shoppers on the hunt for a new Samsung gadget that won’t break the bank will want to check out Back Market’s latest deals. The retailer sells refurbished phones, tablets and smartwatches, allowing customers to get their hands on popular gadgets for less.
Refurbished phones, tablets and smartwatches are a popular choice for many, with them often having significantly lower price tags despite being in excellent condition.
For example, the Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB retailed at roughly £1,250 when it first launched, but the black device can be purchased second-hand on Back Market for as little as £344. This smartphone comes equipped with Galaxy AI, three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
Back Market says the £344 phone is in ‘fair’ condition, meaning it will have visible signs of usage. The Galaxy S23 Ultra comes in a variety of colours and is also available in ‘good’, ‘excellent’ and ‘premium’ conditions, with the latter being the best quality option with ‘no signs of usage’. For shoppers who would prefer this top-quality Samsung smartphone, the 256GB option costs £539, while the 512GB device is £579.
Back Market isn’t the only retailer selling second-hand gadgets, as Amazon also sells refurbished smartphones through its Renewed scheme. This includes the ‘excellent’ condition Apple iPhone 12 128GB that the online giant is currently offering for £239.
EE also sells refurbished pay-as-you-go phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 128GB that costs £469. There’s also the iPhone 11 SIM-free 64GB device that has a price tag of £239.
Smartphones aside, Back Market also sells a variety of refurbished tablets. This includes the silver 128GB Galaxy Tab S8+ that boasts a 12.4″ screen and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The retailer is currently offering the ‘excellent’ condition tablet with three years of Android updates and four years of security updates for £378, which is only £1 more than the price of the ‘fair’ condition option. The Tab S8+ retailed at around £849 when it first launched, however, it has since been discontinued by Samsung.
Shoppers in need of a new smartwatch won’t want to miss Back Market’s offer on the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. This waterproof Bluetooth gadget boasts a heap of handy features, including 100 hours of battery life, Galaxy AI, GPS and a heart rate monitor.
The smartwatch is clearly popular, as the retailer only has the titanium silver option left in ‘excellent’ condition. This comes with a price tag of £340, making it more affordable than Samsung’s current £499 price tag for the brand-new watch.

They continued on to say that their device arrived quickly, ‘within two days’. Another person said: “Good price for an iphone 12, it works well and in good condition as I expected.
“I didn’t give five-stars because although the battery life is ok but I’m unsure if it’s the original battery which was the option I choose when I bought the phone.”
Another shopper raved about the service but did highlight that their phone didn’t come with a charger, which they expected it to. Other highly rated comments from recent shoppers, on Trustpilot, highlight a quick service. As one person said: “The delivery time was great, and I love the product.”
