Tennis star Paula Badosa has confirmed her split with tennis star Stefano Tsitsipas, in a post on social media. The 28-year-old began dating the Greek player in May 2023 and quickly made headlines for her high-profile relationship. As a result, the pair were labelled as the power couple of tennis.

However, they called time on their relationship, with reports suggesting they went their separate ways following this summer’s Wimbledon. Both players were knocked out of the tournament in the first round. Since their split, they unfollowed each other on social media and several pictures of them together have also been deleted.

The Spaniard has now confirmed their split in a recent post on social media after turning 28. Badosa was pictured wearing one banner that read ‘sexy and single’ and another that said ’28 and still a 10.’

Sharing some pictures from the occasion on Instagram, she wrote:”Chapter 28, here we go! Heart full…Thank you to the ones who made it so special.” Badosa, who boasts 1.3million followers on Instagram, often shares glimpses of her luxurious lifestyle away from the sport. Currently recovering from an injury that ended her season in September, Badosa also spoke about the impact that has had on her mental health. “Sometimes life shakes us so hard that we think we won’t be able to get up,” she said.

“We go through moments when the soul breaks in silence, where doubts weigh more than hope, and where the inner noise lets nothing be heard.But it’s right there, in that void, where something sacred begins: the reunion with oneself,’ Badosa wrote.

“Healing isn’t forgetting or pretending it didn’t hurt.
