Anthony Joshua is set to return to the ring tonight against Jake Paul, in a bout that could see him pocket tens of millions. Joshua hasn’t fought since he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois at Wembley 15 months ago, missing out on becoming a three-time heavyweight world champion.
Tonight’s opponent, Paul, presents a considerably easier challenge, having only taken up boxing five years ago. The American has built his record by defeating former MMA stars and a 58-year-old Mike Tyson. However, he remains confident that he can cause an upset by knocking out Joshua tonight. Brazilian Olympian Keno Marley is poised to make his professional debut after joining forces with Jake Paul. He’ll be going head-to-head with Diarra Davis Jr, who has two wins from his three professional fights.
Avious Griffin vs Justin Cardona – 10.30pm
Avious Griffin is looking to bounce back from his first career defeat, having been stopped by Julian Rodriguez last summer. The fight was evenly matched on two of the judges’ scorecards going into the 10th and final round, when Griffin was knocked down and stopped.
Yokasta Valle vs Yadira Bustillos – 11pm
The evening’s first world title bout features experienced Costa Rican Yokasta Valle defending her strawweight title against the once-beaten Yadira Bustillos. Valle, a six-time world champion across three weight divisions, will be challenged by Bustillos, who is keen to dethrone Valle and begin her own reign.
Caroline Dubois vs Camila Panatta – 11.30pm
Tonight, Caroline Dubois will strive to retain her lightweight world title in her first match since being signed by Jake Paul. Her brother demolished Joshua last year but subsequently lost to Oleksandr Usyk, leaving Caroline as the only world champion in the family.
Cherneka Johnson vs Amanda Calla – 12.15am
Cherneka Johnson defends her undisputed bantamweight title after becoming Australia’s first four-belt champion last summer. Johnson faces off against Amanda Galle, who has suffered only one loss in her career and will be looking to cause a significant upset in this preliminary card headline act.
Jahmal Harvey vs Kevin Cervantes – 1am

Anderson Silva vs Tyron Woodley – 1.45am
Two UFC legends, who were in different weight divisions during their prime, are set to face off in a boxing ring for a 195lb catchweight fight. Despite his age, the 50-year-old Silva continues to compete, although he has appeared less sharp in recent bouts.
Both fighters have previously lost to Paul, making this match something of a consolation round.
Alycia Baumgardner vs Leila Beaudoin – 2.30am
Alycia Baumgardner, one of the shining stars of women’s boxing, is poised to assert her dominance over Leila Beaudoin tonight. Baumgardner relinquished one of her super-featherweight world titles – the WBC belt – to enable her to fight over 12 three-minute rounds tonight, mirroring the men’s format.
Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua – 3.30am
The main event. While we all have our predictions and expectations, it’s still surreal to envision Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua sharing the ring.
A victory for Paul, regardless of how it’s achieved, would be one of the most shocking moments in sports history. However, it seems unlikely that Joshua has taken his eye off the ball.
