United are reportedly ramping up their interest for midfield reinforcements ahead of the summer months, with Alex Scott being touted as a possible addition to their squad. Although he’s likely to cost much less than Adam Wharton, Carlos Baleba, or Elliot Anderson, prising him away from Bournemouth with two years left on his contract and at just 22-years-old may prove challenging. If United fail to secure their primary targets, they might consider scouting for a younger, more affordable option in Europe, but their interest is understandable.”
