Tesco Clubcard customers urged to ‘act now’ to get £50 bonus | Personal Finance | Finance

Tesco is reminding customers that they have just over a month left to earn themselves up to £50 in bonus Clubcard points through the  supermarket‘s Challenges scheme. The promotion offers selected loyalty card holders the chance to complete personalised spending goals and earn extra rewards. Not everyone can participate; only those who receive an invitation to join can. For those who have been selected, you have up until February 23 to complete your challenges and claim the bonus points.

Clubcard members get to select up to 10 different challenges that are tailored specifically to their shopping habits, and once you hit the spending targets in your account, you will be able to unlock bonus points on top of what you usually collect.

The challenges include brands you are likely to buy frequently; therefore, shoppers can earn more points without making any changes to what they usually put in their shopping baskets.

But remember, there is a deadline: customers only have about 5 weeks to earn as many bonus points as possible. Those who complete every single challenge can earn up to a huge 5,000 points, which is equivalent to £50 that can be spent in-store.

You can also have the points double to £100 if you swap them with Tesco‘s reward partners.

In other Tesco news, the supermarket also revealed another promotion that will allow customers to triple the value of their vouchers at seven restaurant chains across the nation.

Announcing the incredible offer on Monday, January 19, also known as ‘Blue Monday’ – the saddest day of the year, loyal customers can turn a £10 voucher into £30 to spend eating out, with as little as 50p turning into £1.50 in restaurant credit.

Participating resturants include ASK Italian, Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Prezzo Italian, Zizzi, and Las Iguanas, which joins as a new reward partner.

Shama Wilson, Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, said: “With the third Monday in January often being labelled as Blue Monday and the most miserable day of the year, we hope today’s news will help lift the nation’s spirits, with Clubcard members now able to get even better value from their vouchers as they enjoy a meal out.”
