Mattress stains vanish instantly when rubbing 1 bathroom essential

If you’re struggling to remove any stubborn mattress stains, a cleaning specialist claims to have just the solution

Azure MacCannell took to TikTok with a “hack” that requires a bathroom essential you may already possess. In a video, she applied shaving cream directly to the stain before rubbing it in with her hand.

Next, Azure took a microfibre cloth and continued to rub more vigorously before revealing the end result. And her tricks didn’t end there.

Azure also claims foaming glass cleaner is perfect for removing stains on microfibre surfaces, while she uses fast-acting washing up liquid or spray on fabric stains before placing the dirty items in the washing machine.

Her final “hack” of her short clip involves removing permanent marker stains from clothing. To do this, simply use a steam cleaner and apply pressure to the area of the garment in question.

Writing in response, Azure’s followers were quick to share their tips and tricks too. “Hydrogen peroxide will get blood out of underwear, pants and shorts,” one of them advised. To which Azure agreed: “Peroxide is an unsung hero! Works great on shower mould too!”

Meanwhile a second person sought advice, asking: “What helps for red wine on clothes?”

Azure outlined: “I one time watched my mum remove a red wine stain on a tablecloth by dumping boiling water through the fabric from a height. Just vanished! Let me know if you try it if it worked for you. Or try peroxide but watch out as it can lighten fabric.”

And a third TikTok user queried: “How about those spot oil stains that come out of nowhere as soon as you take your shirts out of the dryer. How do you get rid of those?”

Then Azure advised: “Make a paste with baking soda and dab and work into the stain. Let set for at least an hour. Wash and repeat if still visible. Might take a couple of washes but works great.”

According to , Queen of Clean, shaving foam is the perfect multi-purpose cleaner because of its combination of soap, moisturisers, and other protective ingredients. And like Azure, she is an advocate for using it on stained mattresses.

“Sprucing up your mattress is easily done with shaving foam, just spray the cream liberally over the surface and work it into the material using a damp sponge,” she said.

“This is the best alternative to baking soda as it evaporates quickly with no vacuuming required.”
