Mother’s Day is this weekend (March 15), and there’s no better time to spoil the woman who raised you. But you don’t need to break the bank to do it. Restaurants are offering free food and drinks to mothers this Sunday.
Mums can get a free meal at select BrewDoglocations when you pre-book a table for Sunday and select the ‘mums eat free’ option. Japanese restaurant Yo! is also offering mums a free regular Katsu Curry (either chicken, pumpkin, or prawn) when you spend £15 from March 9 to March 15. This is not on offer at airports or in locations in Belfast and Leeds. The Cinnamon Collection, a high-end Indian chain, will cover the bill for mums on Sunday with a free main meal. There are participating restaurants in London and Oxford. MASH (Modern American Steak House) is offering free meals to mums at their Soho restaurant on Sunday, with tables of at least three paying adults.
Those dining at Beefeater, which has steak restaurants across the UK, can get their mum a free three-course meal from the Mother’s Day menu, or a free main from the normal menu.
To be eligible, you need to sign up for Beefeater’s marketing emails to receive a discount code. The free meal is valid only for parties with at least one other adult who has a meal of the same value.
Luxury desert chain, Heavenly Desserts, has said mums will eat for free all day when another customer orders a brunch or dessert main.
Other restaurants are offering free drinks on Sunday, with Bella Italia offering a free Aperol Spritz or soft drink, Las Iguanas offering a free margarita and Brown’s Brasserie offering a free glass of champagne and a bunch of daffodils when you book on their app and purchase a main meal.
Other restaurants with the offer include Castle Pubs (free glass of Moet at select locations), Flaming Grills (free gin and tonic), San Carlo (free glass of Champagne when the table spends £20 per person), Chiquito (free glass of fizz or a margarita), Wildwood (free Berry Spritz or glass of Prosecco), and TGI Friday’s (free cocktail when the table is pre-booked and purchasing a main meal).
Also participating in the festivities are Prezzo, where mums can get a free glass of Prosecco and a £10 voucher for her next visit. If you book a table before 11.30am on Sunday, every adult in the party can have a free glass.
Other spots are offering free desserts, including Frankie & Benny’s, Miller & Carter (free starter or dessert for mum at a table of more than three), and Sizzling Pubs (free lemon and raspberry mousse with a main meal when the table is prebooked and voucher used.
Bill’s is letting mums roll a dice and win either a free glass of rosé or a dessert when purchasing a main meal.
