This took place on the same day that Maguire received a call-up to the England national team from Thomas Tuchel.

The 33-year-old is part of a 35-man England squad set to face Uruguay and Japan at the end of the month. However, he will now be unable to participate in United’s match against Leeds on April 13 due to a one-match suspension.
