Royal Mail delivery delays hit 13 UK postcodes today — full list | UK | News

Residents across several UK postcodes should brace themselves for postal delays today. Royal Mail has issued an alert covering several English postcodes currently experiencing disruption.

While its air and road networks continue to operate as normal, delays are anticipated at six delivery offices. In addition, Dorset Mail Centre has confirmed that not all the post was processed and dispatched on schedule over the past 24 hours. Royal Mail said in a service update on their website: “We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.

“In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.

“In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.”

Six delivery offices are currently experiencing disruption, affecting a total of 13 postcodes, including Oxford, Ilfracombe, and Petersfield.
