Kai Trump has revealed that she required a steroid injection following her visit to the 2026 Masters, after suffering a “scary” allergic reaction that emerged at Augusta National. The granddaughter of President Donald Trump was granted VIP access at this year’s Masters, sharing the stage with celebrities and golfing icons.

Kai Trump captured footage from the practice rounds before returning home to finish her final year of high school. Despite her privileged Augusta National experience, Trump faced a medical complication. The 18-year-old operates a successful YouTube channel with nearly 1.5 million subscribers, regularly posting vlogs that showcase her unique lifestyle.

In a recent video uploaded to her channel, which documented her senior prom preparations, Trump revealed details of her worrying allergic incident at Augusta National.

“I was using hand soap on my face when I was at Augusta, to wash off my makeup, and I started getting these bumps on my neck,” she explained. “I had to get a shot – a steroid shot.”

“The needle was like this big,” she demonstrated, using her fingers to indicate the needle’s size. “Now, I don’t have a rash anymore.

“But I had an allergic reaction to the hand soap on my face. I have very sensitive skin. It was so, so scary,” she concluded. Before suffering the medical emergency, Trump was asked by Mirror US Sports about her prediction for the Masters Sunday winner. Prior to answering, she was seen consulting with her agent Brett Falkoff.

Trump and DeChambeau are both represented by the same agent, and the golfer enjoys a strong friendship with the Trump family. “I think Bryson,” Trump told Mirror US Sports.

Yet DeChambeau’s tournament ended in disappointing fashion when he imploded on the 18th hole during Friday’s second round, extinguishing his hopes of competing through the weekend. Sitting at 3-over heading into the 18th and placed beneath the cut line at 4-over, DeChambeau posted a triple-bogey.

A straightforward bogey would have sufficed for DeChambeau to progress to weekend action, but the 18th proved disastrous. His drive finished in pinestraw under a tree, and his subsequent shot carried excessive force, propelling the ball into the greenside bunker.

When DeChambeau tried to chip from the bunker onto the green, his ball rolled back into the sand. He succeeded in escaping the bunker on his following attempt, but left himself a substantial distance from the cup.

A clearly disheartened DeChambeau then needed two putts to finish the hole at 6-over, ending his 2026 Masters challenge immediately. This represented his first missed cut since 2023.
