Football clubs pay tribute to Jake Hall after TOWIE star dies aged 35 | Football | Sport

Hall, who joined the hit show while in a relationship with Chloe Lewis, was found in a pool of blood with severe head injuries caused by shards of glass. It is understood that he had been out celebrating before returning to continue the evening at his rented property. The fashion designer represented clubs including Grays Athletic and Boston United throughout his football career, and both have expressed their condolences in the wake of the heartbreaking news.

“Grays Athletic are deeply saddened to receive the news that former player Jake Hall has tragically died while on holiday in Majorca,” his former club said.

“The club would like to send its heartfelt condolences to Jake’s family and friends at this very difficult time. RIP Jake.”

Boston United added: “RIP Jake. You were only with us a short time, but your presence shone the spotlight on the club. We will always remember that goal against Tamworth. Our thoughts go out to your family and friends.”

In the aftermath of the incident, four men and two women also believed to have been staying at the property were questioned by police.

Officers were called to the address in Santa Margalida at 7:30am local time, with an autopsy expected to take place as the Civil Guard continues its investigation.

A police source stated: “We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door but it is still too early to say definitely what happened.”

Hall is survived by a daughter following his death. The reality star welcomed a child with Misse Beqiri in November 2017, although they separated shortly after becoming engaged in May 2018.

Misse’s representatives issued a statement to The Mirror: “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss.

“The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”

Hall featured in TOWIE between series 14 and 17 before deciding to concentrate on his fashion brands. He ran a menswear label that carried the ethos: “Fashion is about more than just good clothes. It’s art.”

In the wake of his death, TOWIE issued a statement which read: “Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”
