Horror as teen ‘kidnapped from home while parents are out and gang raped for 3 days’ | World | News
Police have launched a manhunt for four men in their 20s after they allegedly abducted a 19-year-old woman from her village home in India and gang-raped her for three days while her parents were away. The incident occurred in Pilibhit on May 16, when the girl’s parents had gone to another village for a religious ceremony.
According to the complaint filed by the victim’s mother on May 21, the four men entered the house and took the teenager away. Three of the accused are brothers from neighbouring Shahjahanpur district, while the fourth is from Bisalpur. One of them had relatives in the victim’s village and had reportedly been in contact with her for nearly a year.
The men allegedly kept her confined in a room and repeatedly gang-raped her over the next three days. One of the accused later dropped her back at her home.
An FIR has been registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for abduction, gang rape, and wrongful confinement.
The survivor underwent a medical examination, and police teams are searching for the absconding accused.
The case has sent shockwaves through the rural area in western Uttar Pradesh, with locals demanding swift arrests.
