Next £25 Father’s Day Grooming Box is worth £85
Father’s Day is coming up on June 3, 2026, and if you’re anything like me, you’re probably already wondering what on Earth to buy. Shopping for dads can feel impossible, especially when, like my dad, the father figure in your life claims to have everything he needs.
That’s why a pampering gift set can feel like such a good shout. Beauty boxes have been around for years, but most tend to focus heavily on traditionally feminine products, packed with everything from SPF and skincare to makeup must-haves. This year, though, in honour of dads everywhere, Next has launched a specially curated Father’s Day Grooming Box, designed to give the man in your life a chance to properly unwind, indulge a little, and maybe even enjoy some well-earned self-care.
According to Next, while the box retails for £25, it’s actually worth £84. That’s a saving of £59, which honestly feels pretty impressive for the mix of products included. Inside, there are five full-size items and two travel-sized treats from instantly recognisable brands, including Barbour and L’Occitane.
Having opened more beauty boxes than I can count over the years, I’d say most of the products here feel genuinely versatile and easy to use. There are, however, one or two items that might suit only specific people, and in my opinion, that knocks the overall value down slightly, depending on who you’re buying for.
One of the standout products is the full-size shower foam from Rituals, and honestly, who doesn’t appreciate a shower product that makes an everyday routine feel a bit more luxurious? It comes in sleek, easy-to-use pump packaging and is scented with musk, amber, cedarwood and vitamin E.
There’s also a full-size Nuxe aftershave balm, which claims to hydrate skin for up to 24 hours after use while helping to moisturise and soothe post-shave dryness. It’s the kind of practical product most men will actually use rather than leave sitting untouched in the bathroom cabinet.
Another thoughtful addition is the Dr PawPaw eye and lip balm, created with hyaluronic acid and made fragrance-free to stay gentle on sensitive skin. Designed to be rubbed under the eyes or across the lips, it sinks in softly to moisturise and soothe tired skin.
For anyone who enjoys a proper self-care moment, there’s also the Barber Pro Blemish Control Face Mask. It feels a little like bringing a spa treatment home and is designed to help tackle breakouts while encouraging clearer-looking skin. It’s probably not something every dad would buy for himself, which somehow makes it feel even more like a treat.
The Percy Nobleman Scented Beard Oil is another luxe addition, though this is probably the most divisive item in the box. It’s fantastic if you have a beard, adding nourishment and softness while leaving behind a subtle scent. But not every man — my dad included — has facial hair, so if the recipient is clean-shaven, this product can feel a little wasted.
The set also includes two smaller travel-sized products, which feel especially handy with summer holidays around the corner. Both are under 100ml, meaning they can easily be slipped into hand luggage for anyone travelling through airports with liquid restrictions still in place, and they also fit neatly into a toiletries bag.
The first is a Barbour fragrance in the scent Heritage, described as warm and woody with amber, musk and sharp citrus notes.
There’s also a 30ml L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, a handbag or travel essential that’s especially useful for keeping skin hydrated on the go.
As the product is still new to the Next website, there are currently no reviews yet, so it’s difficult to know exactly how shoppers will rate it. Still, for £25, it feels like a thoughtful, easy Father’s Day gift that mixes practical products with a few more indulgent extras, and for the dad who insists he “doesn’t need anything”, it could be the perfect treat.
