Trump ‘forgets he posted same rambling message’ week ago as dementia f | World | News

Donald Trump has posted the exact same rambling message on Iran war a week apart, as fears continue to soar surrounding the president’s health.

The post discusses Iran ‘surrending’ and admitting’ defeat whilst slamming media coverage of the current conflict.

The president claims in it: “The Dumacrats and Media have totally lost their way.”

Trump initially posted the rant on May 18 at 10.40am and then again on May 26 at 3.32pm.

The duplication echoes concerns about the US president suffering from dementia.

Health concerns include the constant bruising seen on his hand, blamed on regular hand shaking.

Speculation surrounding the president’s health have escalated recently as he has just had a routine dental and medical exam.

His well-being is often scrutinized with regular clips and images of the 79-year-old going viral online.

In a recent interview with CNN, Dr Jonathan Reiner claimed that Trump regularly falls asleep during the day, sometimes when people are speaking to him in the White House.

The statement came after Trump may have dozed off during a Memorial Day event at Arlington Cemetery, as he was seen with his eyes closed while Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth spoke.

Commenting on the president snoozing, Dr Reiner argued this isn’t unusual for Trump.

Speaking during a TV interview, he claimed: “The president has severe daytime somnolence.

“He falls asleep very often. He’s fallen asleep in the Oval Office on multiple occasions with people talking to him in the cabinet room, and I was concerned yesterday that he might have fallen asleep at Arlington National Cemetery during Memorial Day observances.

“Chronic insomnia is a severe illness. It can result in an increase in risk of dementia, decrease in cognitive effects in older people.”

Despite concerns, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to announce he’d finished a physical exam, concluding that “everything checked out perfectly”.

He’s also previously denied allegations that he often falls asleep during meetings, saying: “Sometimes they’ll take a picture of me blinking, blinking, and they’ll catch me with the blink.”

Describing closing his eyes, he said: “I’ll just close. It’s very relaxing to me.”
