Roman’s £30 elasticated linen trousers in 3 colours ‘don’t crease’
Linen is one fabric that dominates summer wardrobes of many a fashion fan. Unsurprisingly, trousers in this material are perfect for the warmer months thanks to their breathability, comfort and hard-wearing style.
High-street favourite Roman has a range of options in this fabric, including these Elastic Tie Waist Linen Blend Trousers. Coming in three different shades including stone, green and black, they’ve have fast become a top choice online for fashion lovers, having earned a number of five-star ratings.
These trousers have been lauded by customers for their comfort and ‘non-crease’ qualities. Described as being ‘full length’, they come with a relatively relaxed straight-leg fit and are fitted with an elasticated waistband that has a drawstring tie.
We’d pair them with a lightweight shirt for when a coverup is needed and some chunky sandals, or a blouse and ballet pumps for something a little more fancy.
If these particular trousers aren’t a good fit, on the Next website, these Stripe Pull On Wide Leg Trousers with Linen are a great alternative. Priced at £20, they come in ecru/brown stripe and grey/white stripe. Customers are celebrating its ‘comfy’ fabric, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Alternatively, on M&S, these linen rich trousers, £28, are selling quickly online. Featuring a wide-leg and a high drawstring waistline, they’re earning praise for their comfort.
Although the Roman trousers have been a hit with fashion fans, with one customer raving: “Perfect! And perfect fit! Very pleased.”
Someone else praised: “These are the best linen trousers I’ve ever bought. Don’t crease like other linens and would highly recommended also the fit is great.”
Another fan of the design added: “Lovely light fabric and very comfortable to wear. Ideal for summer holidays!”
The only drawback some people noted was that the trousers – as only available in one length – were a little too long. One four-star review reads: “Lovely trousers for spring and summer and probably beyond as I can I imagine wearing these with a sweater. Nice fit but quite long.”
Another user echoed: “Comfortable, slightly long in rise. Would buy again.”
With this in mind, it’s worth checking the product dimensions carefully. The website states a 75cm inside-leg measurement.
That said, most people loved the Roman trousers with one person sharing a glowing review that read: “Lovely trousers. The fabric is comfortable to wear and the trousers hang well.
“Could be worn for casual wear or dressed for summer evening wear. Perfect fit. Excellent quick delivery.”
