Ryanair is launching 15 new routes around Europe, giving holidaymakers more choice for summer trips. The budget airline is adding a series of new services across the continent, with flights starting from June 1 and June 2. The routes include connections to popular holiday spots in Italy, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Poland, as well as several city breaks.

The expansion comes as Ryanair continues to grow its European network for the summer season. The airline already operates one of the largest short-haul networks in Europe and is adding more flights from regional airports as demand for affordable holidays remains strong.

Among the new routes are flights linking Bologna and Manchester with Castellon in Spain, a destination on the country’s eastern coast. Italy also features heavily in the latest expansion, with new links to Cagliari, Catania, Reggio Calabria, Rimini and Lamezia Terme. Poland is another key part of the update, with new services from Gdansk and Katowice. These include flights to Bucharest, Palermo, Aarhus and Lamezia Terme.

Ryanair is also adding more routes from Tirana, the capital of Albania, which has become an increasingly important market for low-cost airlines. New flights will connect the city with Alghero, Genoa, Parma and Wroclaw.

Some of the new services are aimed at beach holidaymakers, while others will be useful for city breaks or visiting friends and family across Europe. As with most Ryanair routes, flight times and days vary depending on the destination, so passengers are advised to check the airline’s website before booking.

The launch of the new routes comes just as the summer travel season gets underway, with millions of passengers expected to fly across Europe in the coming months.

The move follows a series of flight cuts due to rising costs, which were announced by Ryanair earlier this year.

In April, the low-cost carrier confirmed it would shut its Berlin base from October 24, cutting its winter flight programme from the German capital by around 50%. The airline has also unveiled plans to close its base in Thessaloniki and scale back operations at Athens Airport during the 2026 winter season.

According to The Sun, the airline’s recent cost-driven reductions have led to services being cut at 19 airports across the UK and Europe.
