New details from an arrest report in the US have revealed the alleged messages between a teacher and a student. Alisha Crins, 40, allegedly told a teenage student she could not stop thinking about his lips after kissing him, according to police documents. The former PE teacher at Ponaganset High School in Glocester, Rhode Island, has been charged with two counts of third-degree sexual assault. She has pleaded not guilty, The Sun reports.
The former student was 17 when he filed a sexual harassment complaint last October. Police say the alleged relationship began when the boy was a sophomore at the school and later escalated into inappropriate texts, images and physical contact.
According to the report, Crins allegedly admitted sending the student inappropriate “sexting” messages. She allegedly told officers they included conversations about “having sex” or what might happen “when he turns 18”. Police documents also claim Crins sent the student images of herself in lingerie while he was still at school. She allegedly said nude photos were sent after he had graduated.

One of the most disturbing alleged incidents happened in 2024, when the student drove to Crins’ neighbourhood.
According to the arrest affidavit, Crins told the student: “I can’t believe I’m going to do this… You can’t tell anybody” before kissing him in the car.
Police say the kiss lasted almost 15 minutes. The report also alleges Crins straddled him in the back seat during a separate encounter, with the alleged physical contact described as including kissing and “rubbing”.
After the side-street meeting, Crins allegedly sent the student a series of messages saying she “couldn’t stop thinking about him or his lips” and that he was a good kisser. The report also claims Crins discussed the situation in a group chat with friends, where she allegedly admitted “sexting” the student and wrote: “I just can’t believe I f***ed this bad.”
She allegedly said she was forced to resign after messages between herself and the student were shown to the superintendent and her husband. Crins resigned from Ponaganset High School in October last year, the same day the former student filed his complaint.
Her husband, Jeffrey Crins, later filed for divorce. In the group chat, Crins allegedly wrote: “He hates me – disgusted.”
The arrest report also includes claims about public behaviour at school events.
Other teachers reportedly told police the student tried to send Crins a Valentine’s Day cookie and gave her flowers at a winter ball in January 2024.
Witnesses also claimed Crins danced with the student at prom and spent excessive time with him while assigned to monitor school hallways.
One former student previously told the Daily Mail: “She was slow dancing with him. It was kind of like she was his prom date.”
At another school dance, the pair allegedly wore matching black outfits.
School staff reportedly raised concerns with senior leaders, but police documents say Crins was not formally disciplined.
Principal Amanda Grundel told investigators there had been no formal disciplinary action, only “meetings or interactions”. She also said she had spoken to Crins after a chaperone reported the dancing, but did not formally document the complaint.
Another staff member told police there had later been a faculty meeting where teachers were reminded: “You don’t touch students, you don’t dance with students, you don’t take photos with students.”
Crins was arraigned in February and released on $10,000 personal recognisance, with conditions including surrendering her passport. The case remains ongoing.
The Foster-Glocester Regional School Committee said it had continued cooperating with the attorney general and state police and was now prepared to move forward with its own investigation.
