Fans pay to watch tennis matches between some of the world’s greatest, including the reigning men’s champion Jannik Sinner, seven-time victor Novak Djokovic, women’s world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka and British fan favourite Emma Raducanu. The Wimbledon Queue, where members of the public traditionally purchase premium tickets on the day of the play, always sees huge crowds trying to secure a ticket. But it’s not just the public that attends the prestigious tennis championships.

Prestigious guests are usually seated in the Royal Box, located at the South End of Centre Court and featuring around 80 green Lloyd Loom chairs.

But how much do the illustrious guests pay for their exclusive seating? The answer may shock fans.

Guests in the Royal Box are thought to pay nothing to watch the championships, as the seats are filled by invitation only from the Chair of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC). The current chair is Deborah Jevans.

But what if you wanted to watch Wimbledon like a royal? People wishing to watch matches from a similar viewing level as the Royal Box would have to dig deep into their pockets to get their hands on the prestigious Wimbledon debenture tickets.

These tickets offer access to premium seats on Centre Court and No. 1 Court, and the same viewing level as the Royal Box.

Prices start from £2,200 and can get as steep as £9,500 for the men’s final.
