Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell four players who aren’t in Michael Carrick‘s plans for the upcoming season. It has already been a busy summer for the Red Devils, who have added a number of new faces to their squad. Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have joined to shore up their midfield ranks, while goalkeeper Karl Darlow has arrived on a free transfer.

United have also waved goodbye to several players, with Rasmus Hojlund completing a permanent move to Napoli and Casemiro departing upon the expiry of his contract. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have also left Old Trafford and remain unattached. It seems four more players could depart in the coming weeks after being informed they won’t feature in the Premier League this season.

Goalkeeper Radek Vitek, left back Harry Amass and midfielders Dan Gore and Toby Collyer are the players in question, according to the Daily Mail.

In the cases of Vitek and Amass, United are reportedly prepared to sell both players or consider loan deals with an option to buy. In the meantime, the pair will remain with the first-team group and take part in training at Carrington.

Vitek is said to have emerged as a target for several Championship sides after impressing on loan at Bristol City last season. Amass, who also spent time in England’s second tier, is reportedly valued at around £6million by United.

Hull City are reportedly interested in signing Collyer, while Gore is available for transfer after returning from his temporary stint at Rotherham United.

Meanwhile, the likes of Shea Lacey and Jack Fletcher are considered more likely candidates for a first-team breakthrough at Old Trafford.

Both players were named in senior squads during the 2025/26 campaign and will be hoping to impress in pre-season to boost their chances of gaining more competitive minutes.

In terms of incomings, United are still in the market for a third central midfielder, with the likes of Manu Kone and Eduardo Camavinga having been linked.

They have also been credited with a long-standing interest in Aurelien Tchouameni, but he has reportedly agreed a contract extension at Real Madrid.
