Trump issues horror ‘decapitation’ threat to Iran as WW3 fears explode | World | News

Donald Trump has threatened Iran with “decapitation” as fears of a new war escalate. He said on Monday: “I want to give them every last chance before decapitation.” The US President, speaking at the Oval Office, said he expected negotiations that will reopen the Strait of Hormuz and create a pathway for Iran to address the United States’ concerns about its nuclear program will begin in the next day or two.

He also said he decided to hold off on ordering American forces to carry out new massive strikes against Iran at the urging of Gulf allies Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He claimed that a plan was in place for US forces to carry out “the biggest attack since World War II” on Sunday.

However, he said he had decided to scrap the plan and give diplomacy more time to play out after hearing from key Gulf leaders — including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — as well as at the request of unnamed Iranian officials.

Mr Trump reiterated that he’s running out of patience with Iran.

He warned: “This the last chance for them to sign a good document.

“I want to give them every last chance before decapitation. Hopefully, they’ll come to their senses.

“In this case, leakers helped, because they said the severity of the attack. And Iran knew it.”

Writing on Truth Social, earlier, Mr Trump said: “Iranian Leadership is unbelievably duplicitous! They ask for a meeting, some would say “beg,” talks begin, with more scheduled in the immediate future, and they say, openly and proudly, that they’re not having any discussions, that nothing is being talked about, and they’re only dealing with ‘Oman.’

“They then go on to give their usual blather in saying, the Strait of Hormuz will be operated powerfully by them, when it is already completely controlled by the United States Navy and our “Blockade” or, as some say, “The United States Wall of Steel!”

“Nothing gets through to Iran, unless we want it to, and nothing will get through, unless a Deal, or Total Surrender, is accomplished.

“Iran wants to admit it or not, we are, in fact, talking of a solution to a problem that they have caused, for decades.

“It is very simple, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Senator Mark Kelly, an Arizona Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told CBS News:

“I think what we’re seeing here is a president who has an approach that’s just rather erratic.

“At this point, he’s trying to get us back to February. And I think if he could — if he had a big reset button he could hit — he would certainly take that option.”
