Amazon’s £16 rodent repellent spray is ‘effective’ pet-safe solution for mice
If you’re struggling with unwelcome visitors like mice and rats, Amazon customers have discovered a non-toxic solution that they claim keeps them at bay permanently. The Catcher’s £15.99 Mouse and Rat Repellent Spray is being hailed as ‘working a treat’ and offers a natural alternative to traditional traps, making it safe for use around children and pets.
The spray contains a mix of castor oil, wintergreen oil, menthol, and cinnamon oil, which together create an environment that rodents find uninviting. This means the rodents aren’t harmed or killed, but are instead encouraged to leave your home in a non-damaging manner.
Users are particularly fond of the addition of cinnamon oil, explaining that unlike other products they’ve tried, this spray leaves ‘no unpleasant odour’. Before using the product, customers are advised to clean up any mess left by the rodents. Then, apply the spray every 20-50 centimetres along the paths frequented by rodents for three consecutive days.
The brand points out that it’s normal to see increased rodent activity during the first 1-2 weeks as they vacate the sprayed areas, however, many users have reported that the rodents disappeared after the ‘first application’.
Amazon customers have been singing the praises of The Catcher spray, with many reporting a significant reduction in unwanted rodent activity. One satisfied user remarked: “Spraying this product each night in the cupboards where the pipes enter has drastically reduced rat activity-even scratching in the wall on the opposite end of the flat has decreased by 80%+ and continues to decrease day by day. Highly recommended.”
Another individual, troubled by rodents in their garage, shared their success story: “I used this product under my car bonnet just over a month ago. So far the mice have not returned. I would definitely recommend this product as it has worked well for me.”
A third customer expressed their relief, saying: “This has proved to be very effective at keeping mice and other rodents away. It’s a real deterrent and exactly what I was looking for. It’s given me real peace of mind as I live in a rural area and need to deter these pesky rodents.”
A fourth customer recounted their positive experience after a holiday: “Used the product just once and am happy to say we have had no signs of activity at all, had sprayed at assumed possible access location before we went on holiday for two weeks. Still the same after six weeks.”
However, not all customers have had the same positive experience. One customer noted that they ‘sprayed garden and seen a mouse a few days later in garden so didn’t work’.
