Tennis legend Boris Becker has confirmed the arrival of his daughter with wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. The former Wimbledon champion, 58, and his partner, 34, welcomed their baby girl on Friday, merely hours before Becker’s own birthday celebrations.

The sports star took to Instagram to share a touching photograph of the new parents cradling their daughter’s tiny hand. Announcing the child’s name, he posted: “Welcome to the world …Zoë Vittoria Becker 21.11.2025.”

Becker and Carvalho exchanged vows in Portofino last year before 150 guests. The couple revealed they were expecting in June, and jetted back to Portofino for a romantic babymoon in October. Discussing his relationship in September, Becker revealed he experienced an immediate bond with his partner. The duo were introduced through mutual acquaintances in Frankfurt in 2018.

“She is obviously a very attractive woman, but I felt that from the first day we had lunch together alone, we had this instant intellectual connection,” Becker told the Sunday Times. “Even though she’s 20 years younger, I feel like she has an old soul, and I like to think my soul is a bit younger, so we met in the middle.”

Little Zoe represents Becker’s fifth child. The former tennis ace has previously been married on two occasions. Becker’s eldest child, son Noah Gabriel, now 31, arrived in 1994 during his marriage to Barbara Feltus. The couple’s second son, Elias Balthasar, followed in 1999. The couple’s marriage hit the rocks after Becker had a brief encounter with Russian model Angela Ermakova, which led to the birth of his daughter Anna in 2000.

In his second autobiography, he candidly admitted: “I was in this family drama because there is no doubt that I was the [expletive] in the whole affair. I had betrayed my pregnant wife, fathered a child and hid the truth.”

After parting ways with Barbara in 2001 and settling on a £10million divorce agreement, Becker walked down the aisle once more. His next wife was former model Lily Kerssenberg, with whom he shared a nine-year relationship that concluded in 2018. Their son, Amadeus Benedict Edley Luis Becker, was born in 2010.
