Chelsea ‘preparing Jadon Sancho transfer offer’ as Man Utd swap deal falls through | Football | Sport
Chelsea are set to make a shock move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho. Despite being welcomed back into the fold at Old Trafford this summer, the 24-year-old is still on the verge of leaving the club after his explosive fall out with Erik ten Hag last season.
According to reports in Germany, it’s United’s Premier League rivals who are now the frontrunners to sign the winger.
The London club are said to be prepared to offer not just a transfer fee, but also two academy players as part of a swap deal.
Chelsea are also prepared to discuss a loan deal for Sancho with an obligation to buy, while covering his entire salary. The former England player earns around £350,000-a-week at United, with his deal running until 2026.
