China stabbing: Horror as several students ‘covered in blood’ | World | News

Several students were left “covered in blood” following a reported stabbing incident in China. Chilling images shared on Chinese social media platform Weibo, as well as X, show several people with clothes drenched in what appears to be blood. Initial reports suggest the incident unfolded in the canteen of Wuhan University.

Multiple students are now said to be in hospital and receiving treatment after the alleged stabbing. A chilling message appeared on Chinese social media before the attack, rumoured to have been posted by the alleged suspect.

The online post reportedly references an academic paper that has gone through “plagiarism checks” but still requires “a second defence”, according to translations.

It then discusses using a “kitchen knife” to attack people in the cafeteria, as per the translation.

The person who posted the social media message talked about “stabbing a few” people and accused “everyone who stands by” as being “complicit”.

Photos and videos purporting to be from the alleged stabbing have appeared on X, showing stunned onlookers in what appears to be the university canteen.

In the video, a man in a black top can be seen standing in the middle of the room, while students and canteen staff stare at him.

Other shocking images show emergency crews outside and multiple people covered in what appears to be blood on their clothes and skin.
