Cute dog overlooked in kennels for 3 years for heartbreaking reason

She has endured three long years in kennels awaiting someone to offer her a home – but tragically, nobody has yet stepped forward.
Poor Frida was taken in by Miracle’s Mission as a puppy but has struggled to find a permanent home due to her disability.
The little dog, who is presently in Bosnia but prepared to relocate to the UK for a new home, was rescued with a severe leg injury.
A statement explains: “When she was rescued, she had an injured leg (presumably having been hit by a car). She was assessed by an orthopaedic specialist in Bosnia, and the leg was operated on to straighten it.
“It healed very well, and she has no issues walking, running, or playing. Her rescuer does not believe this old injury bothers her at all.”
Despite this setback, she has been characterised as a “brilliant” girl who adores interacting with both humans and other dogs. However, she cannot cohabit with cats.
The statement continues: “Frida was rescued by a kind lady when she was a puppy and has lived in a shelter ever since.”
“She weighs around 15kg and is spayed and vaccinated. She is brilliant with people and other dogs and has no reported behaviour concerns.
“She travels well in the car, and the shelter owner takes her everywhere with her.
“She is a very well-rounded and amendable dog. She is active and would like to live with another playful and energetic dog.
“Her rescuer does training with her, her recall is good, and she can turn her paw to anything given motivation, love, and support.”
After attracting minimal interest, Miracle’s Mission issued a renewed rehoming appeal on their Facebook page, stating: “Apparently this is an unlovable face.
“Over three years, sweet Frida has waited for a suitable home. She is amazing with dogs and people, even kids. She loves going for walks and car rides. You can take her to the pub or a cafe, and she loves to be sociable.”
Responding to her rehoming post, one user said: “It’s so unfair these wonderful dogs are so overlooked.” Another user commented: “Good luck, Frida.”
A third user simply said: “Stunning.”
Established in 2015, Miracle’s Mission has been working to “provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the need for neutering both pets and strays, and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals on the streets.”
Describing the origin of the charity’s name, a statement explained: “Miracle was rescued from the streets of Borneo at one week old, before her tiny eyes were even open.
“She was found with her siblings in a very remote area, where they were likely abandoned and very unwell.
“The puppies were full of maggots, with ringworm and blood parasites. Unfortunately, Miracle’s siblings did not survive.
“Miracle was cared for, and she had a very long road of recovery ahead of her. She had several injuries and was very weak, but she made a miraculous recovery and is now strong, happy, and healthy, living with her adopted sisters Star and Tess, who were also rescued from Borneo. Her aim is to help save many more animals in need around the world.
“Miracle is the namesake of our charity, and her story is similar to many others around the world. However, not all of these animals end up being as lucky as she was in finding a loving home where they are spoilt rotten!”.
