Darts LIVE: Luke Littler faces huge bill as Gian van Veen behaviour a ‘disgrace’ | Other | Sport

It’s the day of the World Darts Championship final as Luke Littler looks to become a back-to-back champion against Gian van Veen at Ally Pally. Littler thrashed Ryan Searle 6-1 last night while Van Veen got the better of Gary Anderson 6-3 to set up a thrilling showdown for the Sid Waddell Trophy and the £1million in prize money this evening.

The dominant Littler, who was booed on his way to the oche is the fourth darts player ever to reach three straight World Championship finals. While reigning European and World Youth titleist Van Veen is looking to upset the odds and become only the Netherlands’ third ever champion after Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen, who teenager Littler beat in the 2024 final of this tournament.
