The England team‘s hotel has been put on lockdown after fans swarmed Berlin ahead of the Euros final tomorrow where they will take on Spain for the coveted trophy.

The England squad are staying at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin – just a short drive from a large fan park filled with supporters of many different teams, not just England fans.

Daily Express journalist Zak Garner-Purkis is in Berlin ahead of the highly anticipated final and saw the road in front of the hotel being blocked off with around 10 police vans and nearly 20 officers.

While it is mainly crowd control at this point, one officer confirmed that more officers would be arriving later as they are expecting even more fans to arrive.

Gareth Southgate’s team is believed to have been training in the west of the country this morning and will travel to the hotel ahead of their important match tomorrow.
