Exact time Lloyds Bank cash machines will stop working this weekend | Personal Finance | Finance
Lloyds Bank has warned its millions of UK customers that they will be unable to withdraw cash during a specific period this weekend.
The banking giant posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday to inform people that it is upgrading some of its services over the coming days.
The alert, in full, reads: “We’re working on our services this weekend. It means you won’t be able to take money out from our or any other banks’ ATMs on Sunday 26th October for 90 minutes, from 1:45am (BST).
“Please make sure that if you need money, or any other ATM services, you use them before 1:45am.”
It’s also worth noting that the clocks go back at 2am this Sunday.
Therefore, once 2am arrives, the time will return to 1am. If you own a mobile phone or tablet, you shouldn’t need to adjust the time on it, as most digital devices with internet connectivity will update automatically.
If you possess a clock or watch that isn’t linked to the internet, you will need to alter the time manually. It is believed that other Lloyds services, including online and app banking, will operate normally this weekend.
