‘F*** you Britain’ says Brit fighting for Russia as he burns UK passport | World | News
A British ‘traitor’ fighting for Vladimir Putin’s Russia in Ukraine said “f*** you, Great Britain” as he seemingly set fire to his UK passport. Aiden Minnis from Chippenham, Wiltshire, made the comment in a shocking video he reportedly shared online himself.
Footage showed the 38-year-old burning his British passport on the ground while wearing military fatigues and standing in front of a Russian flag. In the video, which will be seen as propaganda for the Kremlin, he can be heard saying: “My British passport. There’s new anti-legislation, anti-terror legislation in the United Kingdom. It says they can withdraw and revoke citizenship from anyone who participates in anything they deem a threat to their country.
“So consider my passport revoked, consider it rescinded, and consider it that I do not want it anymore. “You can kiss my a**.
“So, f*** you, Great Britain…. Slava Rossii [Glory to Russia].”
Russian gunfire can be heard as the video finishes.
The Briton previously boasted he had been awarded a Russian passport and then a bravery medal by Mr Putin.
“I have a Russian passport,” Minnis claimed more than a year ago. “I am now Russian.”
In fact, the passport he brandished — an internal ID document denoting citizenship, not valid for foreign travel — would not save him from prosecution and jail in Britain nor extradition to the UK if he travels to the West.
He earlier vowed to continue putting killed Ukrainians and English volunteers fighting for Ukraine “in wooden boxes”.
The Kremlin-linked propaganda media outlet Readovka was involved along with Putin-backing politicians in Russian republic Udmurtia — home of the Kalashnikov gun-making plant — in rushing through his citizenship at breakneck speed.
Former drug addict Minnis, who previously described the Russian President as “the greatest politician on Earth”, travelled to Ukraine last year and calls himself both a “Z Patriot” and a “sapper in the Russian army”.
Minnis faces jail for terror offences if he ever returns to Britain which he brands a “fascist state”. He has already spent time in prison in the UK for a violent racist attack.
