F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton makes worrying statement as Max Verstappen decides Red Bull future | F1 | Sport

Max Verstappen is set to trigger a contract clause that will keep him at Red Bull for the 2026 season.

Last year, it was claimed there had been a clause that would have allowed him to leave in the event of an exit for Helmut Marko.

However, according to Autosport, that is no longer the case.

Verstappen is said to have another clause that will see him stick around for 2026 if he remains in the top four by Austria.

His contract will be secure for the next three seasons, with the Dutchman tied down until 2028.
