As well as the Chinese Grand Prix, Sunday also saw the Oscars taking place, with more success for Lewis Hamilton.

His F1 movie was nominated for four awards, including Best Picture and Visual Effects. While missing out on those, it still took one award from the evening, taking the Best Sound Oscar.

Hamilton was unable to attend the awards due to competing in China, but did receive a shoutout during the acceptance speech.

The film, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, was released in June last year and has also claimed a Grammy and BAFTA.
