FatFace’s cashmere blend cardigan is perfect for the ‘shifting seasons’

Everybody needs a stylish yet comfortable cardigan they can throw on with any outfit to keep them cosy as Summer starts to turn into Autumn. FatFace is selling the perfect cardi that the fashion brand says is made for the ‘shifting seasons’.

The Grace Cotton Cashmere Blend Cardigan is available in sizes six to 24 and comes in three warming shades – natural, dark red and navy. Costing £52, the cardi is an Autumn wardrobe staple, as it would look fabulous worn with trousers, a skirt or a dress.

It’s also ideal for layering, as it’s crafted from a light fabric made up of 90% cotton and a touch of cashmere. You can pop on a coat or jacket over the top of the cardigan, and when the unpredictable British weather suddenly turns brighter, you can remove the top layer and still be protected from any light Autumn breeze thanks to the FatFace cardi.

The boxy cardigan has a flattering V-neckline and four large buttons running from top to bottom. It has cute patch pockets and comfy raglan sleeves with cuffed wrists.

FatFace recently introduced the Grace Cotton Cashmere Blend Cardigan to its Instagram followers with a flat lay picture post showcasing its various new Autumn clothing neatly folded alongside footwear and accessories. This includes cardigans, jeans, boots and a handbag.

The caption reads: “The vibe: [Autumn emojis] Who else is ready for new season styles? Shop now.” Many of FatFace’s followers shared their thoughts in the comments section, with one writing: “Need that cardigan.”

A second follower who liked what they saw said: “Love this colour palette.” Someone else added: “Love it all.”

FatFace later shared another flat lay photo of the cardigan on its Instagram page with a striped t-shirt underneath, a pair of jeans, white pumps and a pretty scarf. The caption reads: “Shifting seasons with some transitional outfit inspo. Tap to shop.”

As the cardigan is new, there are no reviews for the garment yet, so it’s hard to say if there are any downsides, although it’s worth pointing out that it isn’t the cheapest out there. You can purchase it via the FatFace website here for £52.

If you’d like to browse more cosy cardigans, M&S is selling a Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Cardigan costing £89. Seasalt Cornwall has a Winding Creek Organic Cotton Knit Cardigan priced at £65.95.
