Gardening cart with seat ‘reduces strain’ now half price
Gardening can be a delightful hobby that brings out our creativity and ensures we get plenty of fresh air. However, it’s not without its downsides, including body aches from bending down, kneeling and reaching high and low. Thankfully, there are many garden tools and gadgets to help make gardening less painful.
Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering the handy Living and Home Rolling Garden Cart With Seat and Tool Tray for half price. Originally costing £122, the useful gardening companion can now be snapped up for £61, beating Debenhams’ current sale price of £66.50. The cart is designed to make tasks such as planting and pruning easier by offering a much-needed place to sit and keeping tools all in one place.
The Rolling Garden Cart seat effectively reduces strain on the back and waist, plus it can be adjusted, ensuring everybody can maintain a comfortable posture for hours on end, no matter their height. The cart’s telescopic handle has an adjustable angle design, allowing it to be effortlessly moved to any part of the garden.
B&Q is selling a similar Heavy-Duty Mobile Garden Seat/Footstool for £94.99. This option has a 360-degree swivel seat that also has an adjustable height, plus a utility basket and tool tray.
Amazon’s Rolling Wheeled Garden Cart With Seat and Tool Tray costs £85.25 and also has an adjustable seat and tool tray. However, both of these alternative carts don’t have a long telescopic handle like Yimbly’s does, making it more difficult to manoeuvre around the garden.
There are currently no reviews for the Living and Home Rolling Garden Cart With Seat and Tool Tray on the Yimbly website. Over on Trustpilot, the retailer has earned an overall rating of 4.3 out of five from over 1,000 reviewers, with many highlighting the brand’s gardening range.
One impressed customer rated the retailer five stars and commented: “The gardening tools are so easy to use, it’s a dream to use them.” A second added: “[Yimbly is] very useful for gardening because of my arthritis.”
Someone else wrote: “The garden planter seat is going to be so helpful when I start putting the plants in. When bending on your knees, you have the support to help you up.”
Unfortunately one buyer was left unimpressed with their Yimbly purchase, as they explained: “Very disappointing. My new small table and chair set is so flimsy that a gust of wind will easily take it into my neighbour’s garden.”
