‘I made £4,400 extra cash in 2023 with my money-making challenge’ | Personal Finance | Finance
A mum-of-two has shared how she earned over £4,400 last year with a money-making challenge.
Cathy Newell took on a whole host of tasks to take home an extra £4,444.94 in total, including using bank switching offers, selling items online and completing surveys.
She told Express.co.uk she found the challenge “easy and fun”. She said: “I decided to make a New Year’s resolution to make as much extra cash besides my job for a full year.
“I sold old things on eBay, Vinted and Facebook marketplace, I signed up to do surveys for vouchers, I referred my friends to TopCashback, I used TopCashback to sign up for a free Experian account and taste card trial to get cashback rewards.”
Getting a switching offer when switching banks earned her almost £2,000 alone. She also secured a new member offer when she joined website Swagbucks. The site works by completing surveys to earn points that can be converted into vouchers.
