Iranian nuclear facility ‘severely damaged in US-Israeli missile attac | World | News
A gamma sterilisation irradiation facility in Iran has been targeted by a joint US-Israeli missile strike, according to local reports. The facility in Isfahan province reportedly sustained severe damage on Saturday, though no radiation contamination has been reported in the surrounding environment so far.
This comes after the Israeli Air Force announced a wave of strikes targeting infrastructure in Tehran and Isfahan, Iran. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed it attacked a storage area housing Iranian F-14 fighter aircraft in Isfahan on March 7. An explosion was reported at an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) command post in Pakdasht, Tehran province, with heavy damage to a nearby residential complex.
Several missiles reportedly hit the Imam Ali Officers University.
An explosion also occurred at an IRGC Air Force base in Mardavij, Isfahan, with additional explosions reported at IRGC facilities in Vila Shahr, Najafabad, and Qarchak.
According to an Isfahan Governorate official, 11 people were killed, multiple were injured, and several manufacturing plants were hit in the overnight airstrikes.

The plant, also in the Isfahan province of Iran, took damage to its entrance buildings. Despite this, the IAEA confirmed nowhere else sustained damage, and there are “no radiological consequences” expected.
It wrote on X: “Based on the latest available satellite imagery, IAEA can now confirm some recent damage to entrance buildings of Iran’s underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP).
“No radiological consequence expected and no additional impact detected at FEP itself, which was severely damaged in the June conflict.”
