Jay Slater LIVE: Heartbroken mum ‘makes one plea’ to Spanish police | World | News
Jay Slater‘s heartbroken mum Debbie has reportedly pleaded with the Spanish police not to “give up” on her teenage son.
The police ended the search for the apprentice bricklayer on June 30, nearly two weeks after the teenager from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire was last seen near the rugged Rural de Teno Park in Tenerife. The investigation into Jay’s disappearance, however, continues.
The teen’s mother, father Warren and brother Zak remain in touch with the police and have reportedly issued a plea to the officers. A source close to the family told the Mirror: “The family want to be sure the police aren’t giving up on Jay. They are in constant contact with them about the case.”
Former British detective Mark Williams-Thomas, who is helping the family, had previously said: “They have been talking to the police most days and are speaking to them again today.”
