December is finally here, signalling the start of the festive countdown, and there’s no better way to do it than with an Advent calendar. If you didn’t pick one up ahead of the start of the month, it’s not too late – in fact, you might even manage to grab one for a discount.

Whether you’re looking to stock up on some of your go-to products or want to try something new, a beauty Advent calendar is a brilliant way to do it, as you get a variety of products for less, without committing to full sizes. If you’ve missed out on the brand’s luxury Advent calendar, which has now sold out online, this one is still a great option, and it’s cheaper too. It’s not available on L’Occitane’s website, so Amazon is the place to get it. The calendar is currently 25% off, with the price dropping from £87 to £65.25.

This calendar is a treat for fans of the French brand, with a great mix of their bestselling body, hand, hair care, and skincare products. Inside you’ll find 24 treats, eight of them full-sized. These include bath and shower goodies, lotions, hand creams and haircare, but there’s also a great selection of the brand’s skincare products. It’s an ideal present for a L’Occitane fan wanting to explore more if the brand’s range, as it’s a great way to try out new products before committing to the full-size versions.

There are matching shower products and lotions in three different scents, including a full-size Almond Shower Oil behind door 24. Reviewing the premium calendar, which also included the specific product, Daily Express Shopping Editor Aimee Robinson, a fan of the serum, said its inclusion in the calendar was a “special treat”.

The Clarins Advent calendar includes 12 products to cleanse, hydrate, and treat the skin, including three body care products and some makeup.

The calendar features some of Clarins’ most beloved products, so it would make a great gift for people who already use the products. But even if you’re not a Clarins faithful, or are just getting into skincare, this is a great set as it takes away all the guesswork of putting together a comprehensive skincare routine.

To cleanse the skin, there are a foaming cleanser and a cleansing milk. Both have gentle, hydrating formulas that aim to clean the skin, removing makeup and oils without disturbing its natural balance.

There is also an eye serum designed to target signs of ageing in the eye area, and a full-size tube of Beauty Flash Balm, which can be used on the face and neck. It’s formulated with antioxidant acerola seed extract, fig, hydrating aloe vera and oat sugars that claim to work against signs of fatigue.

Another treat is the Cryo-Flash Cream-Mask, which is inspired by cryotherapy and promises a “visible lift effect” in 10 minutes.

The online retailer has cut the price from £199 to £149.25, but it’s only a matter of time before it sells out there too.
