‘Mesmerising’ Audrey Hepburn classic is free to watch today | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV


A beloved Audrey Hepburn film called “a feast for the eyes” by fans is available to watch for free on BBC iPlayer from today (Wednesday, 10th December).

The acclaimed classic is still regarded as one of the Hollywood star’s most iconic films.

Airing today on BBC Two from 1:35pm, it will then be made available on BBC iPlayer for a limited time.

Funny Face features the silver screen legend as Jo Stockton, a bookshop assistant and philosophy enthusiast who’s scouted by fashion photographer Dick Avery (played by Fred Astaire) after his boss, magazine editor Maggie Prescott (Kay Thompson), sends him looking for models who can “think as well as they look”.

Despite taking a cynical view on the industry, Jo reluctantly agrees to be whisked away to Paris and finds herself not only swept up by the world of glamour but also head over heels for the man who discovered her.

Currently holding an impressive 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, movie buffs all agree Funny Face is well worth your time this week now you can watch it without spending a penny.
