M&S shoppers rush to buy ‘very comfy’ winter boots
If you hadn’t noticed, it is getting pretty chilly outside, and our wardrobes need to be able to cope with the changing weather. Marks and Spencer shoppers have been snapping up a “fabulous” pair of boots designed to keep feet warm as temperatures plummet, but you’ll need to be quick as two sizes have already sold out.
The suede faux fur lining flat ankle boots are ideal for the cooler months due to their cosy lining, and customers say they’re also super comfy. Priced at £58, they come in two stylish colours – tan and chocolate brown – and are made from faux suede with flat rubber soles and side zips, reports the Liverpool Echo, meaning they’re both practical and comfortable for festive shopping expeditions or winter walks.
Available in sizes three to eight plus selected wide fittings, the boots have accumulated rave reviews from M&S shoppers. In the chocolate and tan colours, sizes three to eight have already sold out, so they’re clearly popular.
One shopper who bought the Suede Ankle Boots said: “Smart and on trend. As comfy as trainers from the word go. Bring on winter.” Another person wrote: “These boots are like a cross between an Ugg and Chelsea boot. I’m happy with them.” While a third user added: “Really like theses boots. Very comfy soft inside the fur feels nice. Boots are well made hope to get lots of wear from them. Oh, and they look good too.”
However, one M&S shopper expressed disappointment with the boots’ finishing touches, commenting: “Very comfortable fitting. Sadly, the stitching across the front of the right boot did not match the stitching across the front of the left boot. I knew this would annoy me each time I looked at it, so therefore, I returned them.”
Although the boots are clearly popular, suede might not be the most suitable choice if you’re planning outdoor pursuits in autumn and winter weather. Damp conditions can cause stiffening and colour alterations in the material, particularly without applying a suede protector.
