Mum-of-two loses over three stone using ‘game-changing’ app
A mum-of-two has so far shed over three stone with the help of a cost-effective weight-loss app priced at 60p per day. Thrilled by her newfound confidence, she credits the Simple app’s AI-powered coach and bespoke 28-day workout challenge for curbing her snacking and boosting her activity levels.
Simple distinguishes itself from competitors such as Noom or Fiit by offering a merge of exercise and dietary advice. It caters to all levels, providing custom workouts from beginner sessions to advanced regimes, along with instructional videos, tracking features, and nutritional tips.
The app is currently available at a discount, now costing £17.99 down from its original price of £29.99. New subscribers can snap up a 40% saving when they commit to the all-inclusive fitness regime, working out at 60p per day.
Getting started is easy, with users completing a bespoke quiz so that Simple can then guide the way to you achieving your fitness goals. As reported by the Manchester Evening News mum Kim has impressively dropped 45 lbs – over three stone – since using the app.
She explained: “My family has been my biggest motivation. I wanted to adopt a healthier lifestyle and set a good example for my children. I put on some weight during my pregnancies and was finally ready to do something about it. That’s when I came across Simple while browsing online and something about it resonated with me.
“I’ve always fluctuated with my weight and often skipped breakfast or lunch depending on my schedule. The app seemed like something I could easily incorporate into my routine that wouldn’t take up too much of my time. Simple has really helped me to be more mindful about my eating habits. It got me thinking in terms of not just what I’m eating, but when I’m eating and why I’m eating. Am I hungry or just bored? I enjoy knowing exactly when my eating window opens and closes and knowing that I can tweak this schedule from day to day to fit my needs.”
Kim went on to share the challenges she faced along the way: “An obstacle I encountered along my journey was getting more active. I’m a remote employee and spend a good portion of my day behind a desk. I decided to get a tracker that would record my movements so I could do a better job monitoring and make changes to my daily activity. Over time, it got easier to incorporate just one more activity into my schedule. I began to notice changes right away which was a real motivator for me. I had more energy and wasn’t snacking as much.
“Little by little, the weight started coming off. I’m six months in and I’ve lost a total of 45 lbs and counting. The AI coach AVO helps me by suggesting slight modifications to my meals that I can incorporate into the next time I prepare it. Little things like changing from white rice to brown rice, or white bread to wholegrain, are easy for me to incorporate into a busy schedule. If anyone is on the fence about trying the app, I encourage you to give it a try. It really was a game-changer for me and really simple to get started.”
Kim isn’t the only user who has noticed a big change in their body thanks to the Simple app. Chris, a cook at a university, has so far lost 41 lbs using the app. He said: “My goal is to get from 295 lbs down to 220 lbs. I’m currently halfway there, I’m down to 250 lbs. I would also like to lower my blood pressure, my cholesterol and my blood sugar.”
Chris found out about Simple while looking for a meal tracking website. He explained: “I gave it a try because I really liked that it supported intermittent fasting which is something I tried in the past and had quite a bit of luck with. Some of the obstacles for my success has been that, as a cook, I work around food non-stop, so it’s hard not to think about food.
“My experience working with Simple’s AI assistant has been great. I love the recipes that it comes up with, but I also really like the feedback I get if I have a day where I eat too much of a certain food – it’ll help put it in perspective and help me learn. When it comes to weight loss, remember why you want to get healthy in the first place and stick with it. It’s definitely worth it and I recommend giving Simple a try.”
Unfortunately, some users have found that cancelling their subscriptions is a tricky affair, with others pointing out that the app sometimes suffers ‘glitches’. Those eager to embark on a health journey can currently access the Simple app’s 28-day workout challenge at a tantalising 60% off for a short period.
