My go-to Medik8 serums for brighter and smoother skin are 20% off

When it comes to skincare, the potent formulas from Medik8 are hard to beat. One particular serum duo I use has been reduced in the beauty brand’s limited-time 20% off sale.

I’ve been using the two products in recent months to achieve brighter complexion and smoother skin, and I’m so impressed with the results, I’m considering rebuying them.

I use Medik8’s C-Tetra Lipid Vitamin C Serum in the morning on dry, clean skin to brighten and correct hyperpigmentation, and apply Crystal Retinal 3 Vitamin A Serum at night to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

The duo would usually cost me £88 in total but with the 20% off deal, I can save £18 and get them for £70.40 instead. The discounts are automatically applied at checkout and are available until Monday, March 3 at 9am.

The C-Tetra Serum is packed with a stabilised form of vitamin C to iron out the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I enjoyed using it after my toner and apply before going in with a face cream and sunscreen.

My previous skin consultation pointed out a few pigmentation marks on my cheeks, so I was hoping to get rid of the “freckle look” and correct the dark spots when UV levels were comparatively low. When using vitamin C, always remember to follow with sunscreen for defence against environmental aggressors. I like to use the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunblock SPF50 that’s reduced on Amazon to £11.90 from £12.50.

At night, I swapped out the C-Tetra serum to Medik8’s Crystal Retinal 3, a night serum with 0.03% retinal that is perfect for first-time vitamin A users. The orange-hued formula is said to act 11 times faster than standard retinol products in filling in wrinkles and smoothing uneven texture.

Some customers mentioned that their skin became red and irritated but that’s not the case for me, the serum blended in well with my night cream.

After three months of consistent use, I noticed my open pores shrink and my skin cleared up so much that I could barely find any blackheads. While my nasalabial folds are still obvious, the fine lines on my forehead are less visible.

If you’re looking for something to maximise skin hydration, Medik8’s Hydr8 B5 Intense Serum is formulated with supercharged hyaluronic acid for dehydrated skin. It has been reduced from £59 to £47.20 for a limited time. Shoppers who spend £150 or more will receive a free “Hydrate & Glow” trio set that is worth £49.

Over at Paula’s Choice, shoppers can enjoy 15% off anti-ageing formulas including the Pro Retinaldehyde Dual-Retinoid Treatment (£53.55 instead of £63) and the skin-perfecting 6% Mandelic + 2% Lactic Acid AHA Liquid Exfoliant (now £29.75 instead of £35).

Estee Lauder also invites shoppers to take 20% off almost everything with the iconic Advanced Night Repair Serum now £52 instead of £65.
