Oral-B electric toothbrush now more than half price

If you’ve been feeling lately like a regular toothbrush isn’t doing much for your oral hygiene, it might be time to switch to an electric one. Although Black Friday isn’t until November 28, shoppers are already spoilt for choice with many offers on gadgets and more. If you’re in the market for an electric toothbrush, Amazon has slashed the price of a top-rated one by Oral-B, which one reviewer described as feeling “like having a dentist clean every day” by more than half price.

The Oral-B Vitality Pro Electric Toothbrush has been discounted from £50 to £24, reports the Daily Record. 

The toothbrush offers three cleaning settings to suit various requirements: intensive cleaning, sensitive care or teeth whitening. If you struggle to brush for the recommended time of two minutes, it also includes a quadrant timer that alerts users when to transition to the next area of their mouth, making sure all your teeth get equal attention.

There are three colour options to choose from, black, purple and blue, and it comes with a charger. All Oral-B toothbrushes come with round brush heads, which the manufacturer claims deliver the most effective clean.

Buyers report the toothbrush delivers exceptional results, with one writing: “My teeth have never felt so clean. My dentist recommended it and I’m glad he did.”

Another said: “My dentist always remarks how well and clean my teeth are.”

Shoppers particularly appreciated the Vitality Pro’s gentle brushing setting, with one commenting: “Brilliant toothbrush, not too harsh on your gums. It is very quiet and easy to use, and the timer is brilliant for accuracy.”

Another review said: “The toothbrush itself is very gentle and works well for sensitive teeth. It provides a thorough clean without causing discomfort, which I really appreciate.”

One drawback several shoppers pointed out is that the toothbrush doesn’t have a charging indicator light. One said: “Good quality, however, I would have liked a light to show that the battery is being charged.”

Another review echoed the sentiment: “A brilliant toothbrush, however, the only drawback for me is the lack of an indicator light. Without one, one doesn’t know if the brush is charging or getting low in power.”

This didn’t trouble everyone, however, with a five-star reviewer sharing: “It’s wonderful. My husband and I use it, and we noticed that our teeth are 40% cleaner when we use it. It makes a big difference, especially for the back teeth.”
