Panasonic’s ‘gentle yet powerful’ hairdryer cut to under £37

A high-performance hairdryer that users say “dries hair more quickly” than other models they’ve tried is now 50% off. The Panasonic Eh-ne83 ionic dryer can be purchased for just £40.32 on online retailer Yimbly, owned by Daily Express parent company, Reach Plc. It’s a significant drop from its usual price of £79.95.

By applying the code DEC10 at checkout, shoppers can enjoy an additional 10% off, bringing the total cost down to £36.29. This is the lowest price we’ve found, for example, at Debenhams, the same model is retailing for £44.95 at the time of writing. 

Panasonic says that the hairdryer utilises ionic technology to hydrate and smooth hair while providing continuous moisture. Its powerful 2500W motor ensures quick drying times, and it offers three heat settings.

Included with the hairdryer is a concentrator nozzle for precise styling during blow-drying. It also features a removable filter for easy dust collection and disposal, reports Devon Live  The device weighs 0.7 kg, with many shoppers say they find “lightweight” in the hand. 

The Panasonic hairdryer has yet to receive any reviews on the Yimbly website, but it has garnered plenty of accolades on the Debenhams website. A satisfied customer shared: “Perfect for me. Light, quiet and gentle, yet powerful. This is exactly what I wanted.”

Another user praised: “This hairdryer is very powerful and dried my hair a lot quicker than other hair dryers I’ve used. I have fine hair but this left my hair in great condition, with a softer than usual feel and with less fly aways.

“The heat protection setting is just enough heat to style without being too much or too harsh on my hair. The cool shot function is great for setting my style.”

An Amazon review wrote: “Powerful hairdryer. Dried hair in half the usual time. Hair felt smoother and less frizzy.”

A different reviewer noted: “Wow, this is a really powerful hair dryer and although I was a touch worried that it would blast my fine hair away, I was surprised that I was able to style my hair easily whilst drying it really quickly. The concentrator nozzle certainly helps styling!”

However, not all feedback was glowing. One purchaser found the Panasonic hairdryer “a bit on the heavy side”, while another pointed out: “The only negative I found was attaching the nozzle. This was slightly tricky/stiff to attach but once on worked a treat.”
