Psychics predict ‘shock election’ and ‘odd’ weather in 2026
Three British psychics have revealed their “predictions” for 2026 with one warning us “not to let politics create divide”, another foresees authority facing “growing resistance” with “massive tension building” around issues that “feel controlling to ordinary people”. While there is no proof that psychics have the power to predict things, the fascination with clairvoyance dates back centuries – and many find the possibility of what could be in store intriguing.
Claire Stone, also known as the White Witch of Cheshire, describes 2026 as set to be “fast, restless, and full of momentum” with delays becoming “a thing of the past”, she puts this down to the Chinese Year of the Fire Horse, which begins on February 17, 2026. Psychic medium Joanne Jones predicts the “intuitive energy” of 2026 as feeling “profoundly exhausting” with “frustration, urgency and emotional burnout” being things to watch out for. Pyschic Inbaal Honigman said the four eclipses in 2026 “will have real-life consequences in politics and entertainment” and “noticeable shifts” will be “evident” due to slow-moving planets.

Joanne, recognised globally for her psychic ability, said: “I’m seeing waves of instability throughout the year, where nothing feels truly settled, and the energy remains unpredictable and emotionally charged.
“There will be moments that make people across the globe question everything about leadership, truth, and who’s really pulling the strings behind the scenes, and these will come out in dramatic fashion with little warning.”
Joanne, the founder of Trusted Psychics – who is renowned for her “intuitive readings and unwavering compassion” – added that Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio will be “most affected” in 2026, according to her insight.
For Aquarius, “life accelerates rapidly in 2026 with momentum building fast”, she said; for Taureans “your fundamental security faces direct challenges”.
Leo will find their “identity and reputation undergo significant testing” – and for Scorpios “long-buried truths rise to the surface”, Joanne revealed.
However, psychic tarot reader and author Claire Stone, who was “born with the ability to see and hear spiritual beings” said it’s a powerful year ahead for all fire signs: Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
“Fast-paced, full of breakthroughs and bold decisions. Exciting, but they must manage burnout,” Claire said about the three fire signs.
She added that for earth signs – Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn – 2026 would be “transformational” after “letting go of old security structures”, and for water signs – Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer – there will be “deep emotional healing”.
Air signs – Aquarius, Libra and Gemini – will find 2026 “expansive and mentally stimulating with opportunities for travel, study, or reinvention”, according to Claire.

However, both psychics have laid out their predictions for national, political and world events in 2026 – and they both forecast some “tension” but also a rise in “community” and “everyday rituals” especially in the second half of the year.
Claire said: “More people will leave or feel like leaving the country as the cost of living brings the county into further decline. Yet there is a blessing in every burden, see how you can come together and strengthen bonds.
“This is a great time to recreate a deep sense of community and belonging. Don’t let politics create divides for you personally.”
Joanne said: “Mid 2026 brings a genuinely lighter window for everyday life, but February to March, and early autumn, feel particularly charged in my readings, with public patience wearing dangerously thin during these specific periods, with scandal and dramatic events happening with little warning.
“Keir Starmer faces unprecedented challenges similar to those facing Trump. What surprises me most is how closely the UK mirrors America’s political turbulence, though it manifests in distinctly British ways.”
She elaborated: “Starmer will encounter similar resistance to Trump with his policies around digital identity, surveillance and significant legal reforms, which will trigger widespread unease that cuts across traditional party lines.
“After months of relentless tension and cultural conflict, the middle of the year feels like a genuine emotional pause where people consciously step back from constant outrage cycles.
“There’s a noticeable pull towards smaller pleasures that feel more authentic, such as local events, familiar faces, and everyday rituals that provide genuine comfort rather than performative happiness.”

Joanne added: “Even people who typically avoid politics altogether will sense that something fundamental about privacy and personal freedom is shifting beneath their feet.
“This doesn’t necessarily mean there will be outright chaos, but it will absolutely spark heated public debates, potential legal challenges and visible pushback, particularly when campaigners frame issues around protecting ordinary people’s rights and autonomy.
“It may see Keir’s leadership questioned, and there is a possibility that a shock election or leadership battle may take place.”
Joanne went on to say that “financial stress will continue throughout the year, though brief windows of relief appear”.
She predicts that “the mid-year period from May through July brings welcome breathing space for many households, where finances will unexpectedly stabilise or surprising opportunities materialise seemingly out of nowhere”.
But, “renewed pressure returns later in the year, especially around housing costs, council tax increases and energy bills that will catch families off guard”, the psychic warned.
Joanne also said that “community resilience emerges as the year’s quiet strength” and “odd” weather systems will prevail.
She summed up her predictions for the coming year: “2026 is a year of necessary confrontation with what no longer serves us, and will force individuals, governments and outdated systems to finally face what simply doesn’t work anymore and cannot continue unchanged.
“For many people, this process feels genuinely gruelling and exhausting, while for others – particularly those who’ve been waiting for meaningful change – it proves surprisingly empowering and validating.”

Fellow psychic Claire said: “As the year of the Fire Horse proceeds, people will feel curious about their path again, hungry to explore, create, and redefine where they’re going.
“But the Fire Horse is not a gentle guide. Historically, it’s considered one of the more challenging (Chinese) zodiac years.
“There will be tension around women’s rights, and it may seem as though we take a brief step backwards politically in terms of feminine equality – and this suppressed energy will bring conflict globally.”
She added: “Concerns around fertility in the West increase, prompting deeper conversations about health, environment, and the future.
“2026 also carries a theme of revelation. Expect truths that have long been hidden to come to the surface. Information once censored or controlled will leak into the public eye, specifically in the food industry.
“In this fast paced year, we must stay grounded, awake, and aligned with our true values.”
Inbaal Honigman, celebrity psychic, also gave her take on 2026, highlighting the total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026, in the “sunny sign of Leo”.
She said: “This will be the first eclipse visible from Europe since 1999 and is sure to impact UK residents. Since this eclipse is in Leo, it will be associated with big names and heads of state. This eclipse reveals secrets and lies of the past, so names which have been previously redacted from the news, will be released to the public.”
