Queen Camilla’s ‘sweet’ love message to King that fell under the radar | Royal | News

Adding a final touch of refinement, Her Majesty wore a pair of pearl drop earrings beneath her wide-brimmed ivory hat trimmed with blue ribbon.

Yet it was her brooch, pinned delicately to her jacket lapel, that carried a particularly heartfelt message. The piece featured a cluster of diamonds encircling a blue cabochon gemstone believed to be moonstone.

The gemstone is said to symbolise emotional healing, self-awareness, and reconciliation.

Jewellery expert Maxwell Stone explained: “There’s been much speculation surrounding Queen Camilla’s latest brooch, as its origin remains a mystery. While it’s not a piece she wears often, she has been seen wearing it on three notable occasions.”

He continued: “The dazzling brooch features diamonds surrounding a central blue cabochon gemstone, believed to be moonstone. This gem has been cherished by royalty and jewellery enthusiasts for centuries, prized for its symbolic meanings of feminine energy, new beginnings, self-awareness, calmness, intuition, and safe travel.”

Maxwell added, “Intriguingly, moonstone is also believed to possess the power to reunite loved ones divided by conflict.”

The timing of Camilla’s choice has not gone unnoticed. Her decision to wear the moonstone brooch, long associated with harmony and emotional balance, comes amid a turbulent chapter for the monarchy.

Just hours earlier,  Prince Andrew was stripped of his remaining royal titles, while the family continues to navigate ongoing fractures with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Whether coincidence or quiet symbolism, the Queen’s jewel seemed to send a subtle message of hope and unity – a reflection of her steady presence beside King Charles during one of his most challenging periods as monarch.
