Satellite images show Gaza devastation after Israeli retaliates against Hamas terror attack

Days after Hamas’ terror attack on Israel, satellite images on Tuesday captured the devastation of Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Gaza. 

Gaza militants on Saturday launched a surprise attack by land, air and sea, descending on an Israeli music festival, kibbutzes and cities. At least 1,000 people have been killed in Israel, 2,800 have been injured, and dozens have been taken hostage, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

The Israeli bombardment and destruction in Gaza City were foreshadowed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had promised retaliation that would “reverberate with them for generations.”

More than 920 people, including 260 children, have been killed in Gaza and the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. More than 4,000 have been injured.
