Snooker scores LIVE: Ronnie O’Sullivan vs Barry Hawkins updates from the Masters | Other | Sport
We’ve reached the quarter-final stage of The Masters snooker at the Alexandra Palace with Ronnie O’Sullivan taking on Barry Hawkins for a place in the final four. Shaun Murphy v Jack Lisowski, Judd Trump v Ali Carter, and Mark Selby v Mark Allen complete the last-eight.
The first of today’s two matches will get underway at around 1pm, with seven-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan taking on 2022 runner-up Barry Hawkins. Despite a 147 maximum break from Ding Junhui, pre-tournament favourite O’Sullivan came through his opening contest 6-4.
Hawkins, meanwhile, overcame Neil Robertson 6-3. But he’ll need to step up a level to live with the ‘Rocket’, having only previously beaten him three times in 20 attempts.
The second match today gets underway at 7pm, with Shaun Murphy playing Jack Lisowski.
